Warranty Claims

Latrobe Valley Computers is committed to providing quality parts and services to its customers. We are committed to ensuring your consumer guarantees and rights are met under Australian Consumer Law
If a product sold by Latrobe Valley Computers does not meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, Latrobe Valley Computers will honour your rights to repair, replacement or refund.
If a Product has a major problem you are entitled to a replacement or a refund. This is when a product:

• has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
• is unsafe
• is significantly different from the sample or description
• does not do what we said it would, or what you asked for and cannot be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.

Latrobe Valley Computers reserves the right to inspect and test any products returned to verify the validity of your claim.

Latrobe Valley Computers is not an Authorised Representative or Service Provider for the purpose of any Manufacturers Limited, or “Extra” Warranties. Customers are advised to read the terms and conditions to ensure they are aware of their rights and obligations under the agreement with the manufacturer.

Change of Mind

If you have a change of mind return the unopened, undamaged product to Latrobe Valley Computers, along with the sales receipt within 7 days of the date of purchase and we will refund you the total amount for the item, less any freight and restocking fees that may be incurred by Latrobe Valley Computers.

Latrobe Valley Computers will not offer a refund on any hardware that has been opened or damaged, or any software opened or unopened.
